GM begins shipping the Chevy Blazer EV and announces its cost and range.

The brand-new Chevrolet Blazer EV has begun to be delivered by General Motors.

The first electric Blazer, in the RS all-wheel drive configuration, began arriving at dealers on Monday from the GM plant in Ramos Arizpe, Mexico.

It has a starting price of $60,215 and a purported range of 279 miles on a single charge.

The Blazer EV, which is based on the Ultium propulsion system, is the following in GM's new EV lineup and is scheduled to go on sale this year.

Initially, it shows the Cybertruck charging at Gigafactory Texas' solar-panel canopied Supercharging station.
